About Me
I'm a values-driven nonprofit leader and Certified Life Coach with over 18 years of experience in education, first as a preschool teacher then as a co-founder and Administrative Director at Golden Bridges School, a progressive K-8 school in San Francisco that I helped grow from 14 to 135 students. I completed the Waldorf Teacher Training for Grades 1-8 through Rudolf Steiner College in 2011 and completed the Collaborative Leadership Training at the Sunbridge Institute in 2015.
My work has spanned the full arc of organizational leadership — from building collaborative teams and designing equity-centered operations to managing the entire operational budget and stewarding relationships with teachers and staff, funders, community partners, and enrolled and prospective families. I bring a deep, firsthand understanding of what it means to run each administrative department — from Board directed administrative leadership to enrollment to development, and finance — with limited resources and a limited staff. I’ve led during times of strategic transformation and through global and intercommunity crises. I'm especially passionate about the kind of trust-based, community-accountable work that creates lasting change.
I’m also a mother of a college freshman and high school freshman, a wife, a jigsaw puzzler, a tennis player, a beach walker, a traveller, a cook, and a surprisingly good player of Ms. PacMan.
